I was hoping someone here might have a solution. I've tried reaching out to wacom and MS but never heard anything back. Again, if I click with the mouse all the control points I attempted to place with the pen will process very quickly and show on the screen. That being said if I click with the mouse all the actions I've tried to do with the pen process really quickly.Īnother example is if I select the pen tool (ps tool) and try to use the pen (wacom pen) it'll only place the first control point down and no other. If I go to change the tool, the sub menus will appear but I wont be able to select anything. If I tap the screen with the pen it'll place a dot (brush tool) but it will not create a stroke if I drag the pen. For example if I create a new file I can draw for a second then it'll stop. The best way I can describe the issue is the pen is getting stuck in a "clicked" state. Everything has been updated to the latest drivers. I just reformatted the laptop just to make sure and this issue is still there.

I uninstalled / reinstalled all drivers and photoshop still did nothing. I've tried the wintab UseSystemStylus 0 solution did not work.

I assume the issue has to do with the latest update from MS as it was working just fine before the update, however all the solutions I have found online haven't worked.

However it does work with all my other software (ex. The wacom pen that came with my lenovo thinkpad is no longer working with photoshop CS5. I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out. (previously was turned off to fix the pen from a previous win10 build) Turn back on Press and Hold for Right-click.

I have got it working for the moment, but I am not sure why this has fixed the issue. Other devices, selected the bamboo ink, then clicked "remove device" After that it paired easily with my new laptop.Edit 1: Update.

To unpair from my old laptop, I went to settings, Bluetooth and While my pen was paired to my old laptop it would not respond or pair to my new laptop. *also note that prior to this I had tried it with my old laptop and successfully paired it with that. Powered by a single AAAA battery, the Lenovo Active Pen also features two built-in side buttons. This pen boasts pin-point accuracy, palm rejection technology and 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity to provide a natural pen and paper experience when you sketch and jot down notes. Repeat to return to the previous setting.įull instructions and illustrations for pairing and changing pen protocol can be found here: Ive just ordered the WACOM Bamboo Ink Plus pen for my Yoga 730 laptop, but I noticed that it wasnt specifically listed as compatible. Bring your ideas to life with the Lenovo Active Pen. (one blink means the pen is in Wacom AES mode and two blinks means MPP mode) or to fix pairing and connectivity issues between stylus and device. Press and hold both side buttons at the same time for two seconds to switch between protocols Switch between Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP) and Wacom Active Electrostatic (AES) devices as you please. Bamboo Ink is preset for the Wacom AES protocol. Your Bamboo Ink needs to be set to the right protocol for your device. I did this and now my pen works perfectly. For me on the ASUS q325ua I found you have to change the bamboo ink protocol from default AES to MPP.
